Trails Tour Poster Design Competition
Hey Trailingtons! – following the success of our t-shirt competition we have decided to ask you for your help once again!
We are heading out on our most ambitious tour yet (ok so it’s not really that ambitious but kinda makes it sound good right?!) and we want you guys to design us a tour poster!
In terms of the design you can do literally whatever you want! The world is your oyster, your imagination your friend, and your pen your tool.
The winner will receive a copy of the printed poster, a ticket for them and a friend to any one of our tour dates (you choose), a free CD/T-shirt/Merch mega bundle of joy, and if you’re lucky one of our drummer Adam’s incredibly ‘wet shirts’.
Just like last time we’ll post the entries up onto a gallery on our Facebook page, then you’ll need to get your friends on Facebook to do the following:

‘Share’ the Poster Design of their choice

Rules are as follows:
1. You must include the following text on your poster:
Trails ‘OPTIONAL FUN TOUR NAME’ Tour (‘Optional fun tour name’ is not the name of the tour. Please come up with your own super fun tour name!)

2. Entries must be submitted by e-mail to contact@wearetrails.com by (Friday 27th July).
3. Hand drawn entries must be scanned at 300dpi. Please keep an original copy of your work in case we need it rescanned at higher quality!
4. Computer designed entries must be sent with the following specifications: 300dpi, CMYK colour. A3 size.
5. Votes will only count if all three of the following stipulations are met : ‘Like’ the Trails Facebook page (if you don’t already) + ‘Like’ the Poster Design of your choice + ‘Share’ the Poster Design of your choice.
Legal Mumbo Jumbo:
You may not use any copyrighted material, or steal someone else’s design from the internet. You must own the rights to any images/fonts/artwork etc used in your design. Trails accept no responsibility or liability for any prize entries that do not conform to this requirement. The rights to your design become the property of Trails upon submission. Trails will not be liable to provide any financial reimbursement or royalty following the printing of the poster with your design.
The winner will be the image with the highest number of ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ on our Facebook page on 03/08/2012. The winner will be informed by e-mail by the 04/08/2012. The prizes will be sent out by the 10/08/2012. The prize offered is not replaceable and no cash alternative will be offered. The competition is only open to residents of the UK. Any entries from outside of the UK will not be considered. No payment is required to enter. You may submit as many entries as you like. The winner may be required to participate in any promotional activities. Only entries received between the 18/07/2012 and 27/07/2012 will be considered. The results will be announced through our website (www.wearetrails.com) and various social media sites i.e. Facebook Twitter. Other restrictions may apply. Where the term ‘Trails’ is used it refers to the: Sam Hopper, Will Duff, Adam Rains, James Candler i.e. the band ‘Trails’.
